Non-emergency medical transport (NEMT) safely moves patients who are medically stable and don't need monitoring or treatment during the ride - for example, going home or to a skilled nursing facility after discharge. A 911 ambulance is for emergencies or patients who need clinical care (like cardiac monitoring or IV medication) en route. If your situation is an emergency, always call 911.
We specialize in same-day discharge pickups across LA County. The more notice we have, the better we can line up the exact time - but our dispatch answers in seconds and we move quickly to free the bed without leaving your loved one waiting.

Yes. We safely accommodate a patient's own prescribed portable oxygen during the ride and secure it properly. We don't prescribe or adjust oxygen - that's directed by the patient's care team - but we make sure it travels safely with them.
It means we don't just drop off at the curb. We collect the patient from their hospital room, manage every transfer, bring their belongings and equipment, and settle them into bed or a chair at home or the receiving facility - assisting through stairs and doorways along the way.
Absolutely. Hospital case managers, social workers and discharge planners book with us regularly. We confirm timing, level of transport and equipment directly with your team and provide a single point of contact, so the hand-off is smooth. We can set up a facility account for recurring discharges.
We recommend booking at least 24 hours ahead so we can confirm your pickup and reserve the right rated equipment. For recurring follow-ups, set the schedule a few days out. Same-day requests are accommodated whenever a crew is available.
