When my son was discharged from the hospital, I already knew a regular transport van wasn't going to work. Our house sits on a hillside - 65 stairs from the street to our front door. A standard provider would drop him off at the bottom and call it done.
I'd called around. Most companies didn't even ask about stairs until it was too late to plan for them.

I needed someone who would ask about the stairs before showing up, not figure it out standing at the bottom of them.

The journey

They counted every step before he moved an inch
