When you have a disability, people assume you have a plan. What they don't see is the years of trial and error behind it - the services that didn't show up, the drivers who didn't know how to help, the apps that weren't built for someone who can't see them clearly.

I've tried most modes of transportation available in Los Angeles. Rideshare. Community services. Other medical transport companies. Each one had a version of the same problem: the system wasn't built with me in mind, and the people running it weren't willing to close the gap.
